Job summary

WVU Medicine – United Hospital Center is expanding its urgent care services in Bridgeport, WV. They are seeking a physician to diagnose and treat patients within their newly established Rapid Care clinic. This role requires an MD or DO degree and board certification in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine. The clinic operates 7 days a week, offering full-time schedules with no call or night shifts. Qualifications

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain a state medical license.
• Completed an accredited residency in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Medicine/Pediatrics.
• Board certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.
• All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.

WVU Medicine – United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV is expanding our access to minor emergent care with the opening of an urgent care clinic on the hospital campus. This clinic will run 7 days a week with a physician and Advanced Practice Provider (APP) model.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat patients in an outpatient urgent care setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain a state medical license.
• Completed an accredited residency in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Medicine/Pediatrics.
• Board certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.
• All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.
