Job summary

University of Washington is seeking a Part-time Patient Services Specialist 2 at our Kirkland clinic. The role supports urgent care with efficient reception, scheduling, and data collection to ensure timely, patient-centered care.

The position offers a 75% FTE (30 hours/week) schedule, Thursday–Friday 9:30–8, Saturday 7:30–6, in a team-focused environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience OR an equivalent combination of education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging.
• Scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments.
• Obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information.
• Partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery.
• Other duties as requested.
