Responsibilities include insurance verification, collecting payments, and supporting clinic workflows while upholding HIPAA and OSHA standards. This role requires a friendly, detail-oriented professional for a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; certification is a plus.
• 1+ years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting as a Medical Receptionist.
• Strong communication and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with EMR software; EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with a positive attitude.
• Manage front-office operations and documentation.
• Verify insurance benefits and explain billing policies.
• Determine and collect patient financial responsibility.
• Support practice manager, providers, and staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Comply with HIPAA and OSHA regulations and protect patient information.
• Travel to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
