Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; Medical Administrative Assistant certificate is a plus.
• Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication and multitasking in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet patients and visitors and manage front-office operations.
• Maintain patient and business documentation with confidentiality.
• Verify insurance and explain billing/payment policies.
• Collect payments and manage financial responsibilities.
• Support the practice manager and staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance in documentation.
• Occasionally travel to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as needed.
