Job summary

UC San Diego Health seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner to provide same-day acute care at Express Care clinics across multiple locations, including Vista, Encinitas, Rancho Bernardo and downtown, with seven-day coverage and holiday availability.

You will follow standardized protocols, manage patient load, perform triage, wellness exams, and population health initiatives, and be required to obtain UCSD Medical Staff privileges. Willingness to float between clinics is essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited FNP program and board certification.
• California RN and NP licenses with furnishing license.
• Current BLS/CPR and ACLS at hire; PALS required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide same-day acute care at Express Care clinics across multiple locations.
• Follow standardized advanced practice guidelines and care plans.
• Assess, triage, and manage patient load with professional autonomy.
