• Ensures efficient flow of patients and optimizes appointment availability.
• Greets and escorts patients to exam rooms.
• Prepare patients for examination; measure vital signs.
• Assist clinicians with routine procedures and tests.
• Update EMR with recent tests, demographics, medications and chief complaints.
• Reconcile medications and manage refills.
• Address patient concerns and questions as appropriate.
• Perform point-of-care waived tests (e.g., strep, urine, hCG, glucose).
