Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma required.
• Medical Assisting Program preferred.
• 1+ year MA or phlebotomy experience preferred.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• In lieu of MA cert, Nursing/LPN/RN, EMT or CNA acceptable.
• CPOE certification required within two weeks of start.

Aufgaben

• Register patients, secure paperwork and insurance eligibility.
• Process co-pays and schedule appointments for the center.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists.
• Answer patient questions and update them on status.
• Prepare patients for examination and record medical history.
• Draw blood samples and prepare specimens for lab analysis.
• Maintain exam rooms, front desk, and supplies.
• Maintain medical records and scanning charts.
