GoHealth Urgent Care in Connecticut is seeking a Medical Assistant to support examination and treatment under urgent care providers. You will handle check-in, interview patients, record vital signs, collect specimens, and prepare exam rooms.

The position requires a High School Diploma or completion of a Medical Assisting program, with MA experience and Front Desk exposure preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) is required at start; certification in CPOE may be expected within two weeks.

• Front Desk experience preferred; Basic Life Support required at hire.

Responsabilidades

• Register patients and verify insurance and eligibility.
• Process co-pays and schedule appointments.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and inform patients of status.
• Conduct patient interviews and document medical history.
• Assist in examinations and prepare treatment rooms.
• Perform vital signs and collect specimens.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of exam rooms and front desk area.
• Document and file medical records and charts.
