Job summary

Accelerated Urgent Care seeks a Cross-Trained Medical Assistant / Receptionist to provide Front Office and Back Office support across clinic locations. You will schedule appointments, register patients, verify information, collect payments, assist providers, perform clinical duties, and help maintain efficient clinic flow.

The role requires flexibility to work in both Reception and Medical Assistant capacities and travel between clinics within the assigned region.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in front office and/or patient services.
• Effective multi-line phone handling and scheduling skills.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with EMR/practice management.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
• Demonstrated initiative and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients; schedule appointments and answer inquiries.
• Collect payments and verify insurance information during front desk duties.
• Support clinical staff: assist providers and perform basic clinical tasks.
• Maintain clean, organized reception and treatment areas; document interactions.
• Chaperone exams and ensure sterile technique as required.
• Travel between clinic locations as needed and cover multiple roles.
