Hometown Urgent Care is seeking a Medical Assistant Receptionist to support clinical and administrative tasks. You will welcome patients, register demographics and insurance, collect payments, answer calls, and assist with occupational medicine duties.

The role requires basic EMR skills, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in a busy clinic environment with confidentiality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
• Previous medical office or receptionist experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with good clinical and professional judgment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented; ability to balance multiple responsibilities.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and visitors with compassion and provide excellent customer service.
• Register patients: collect demographics, insurance and payment information.
• Handle payments including co-pays; answer multi-line phone system.
• Perform basic medical assisting/occupational medicine duties to support patient flow.
• Travel to care centers within designated region; ensure daily reconciliation of monies collected.
