Job summary

HonorHealth's Urgent Care-Mesa location is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide front and back office support, escort patients to exam rooms, and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms. The MA supports providers, schedules patients, and manages phone messages with accuracy and care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an MA training program required.
• BLS certification required.
• Fingerprints Clearance Card required.
• Completion of CMA/CCMA/RMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares treatment rooms for examination and assists the physician/clinician.
• May travel to off-site locations for diagnostic testing and procedures.
• Administers injections and TB testing under physician supervision.
• Performs venipuncture and CLIA-waived lab tests.
• Handles front office duties: reception, scheduling, chart maintenance, and insurance forms.
• Organizes insurance authorizations and referrals; supports case management for employees.
