Novant Health–GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Medical Assistant Float to support providers across urgent care locations in North Carolina. You will assist with patient intake, clinical procedures, front desk operations, and overall patient flow to ensure a safe and efficient experience.

The role requires BLS at hire, MA program completion preferred, and at least 1 year of MA experience. You will work across multiple sites with competitive benefits and incentive pay based on performance.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a Medical Assisting Program preferred.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Register patients and collect paperwork and insurance eligibility.
• Process co-pays and schedule appointments.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists as directed.
• Prepare patients for examination and document medical history.
• Take and record vital signs.
• Perform point-of-care testing and communicate results.
• Draw and prep blood specimens.
• Manage front desk duties and patient flow.
• Open/close duties and cash handling.
• Adhere to clinical and safety policies.
