American Family Care is hiring Medical Assistants for our corporate-operated urgent care centers. You will blend clinical skills with front-desk and insurance verification tasks to keep centers running smoothly.

We value accuracy, compassion, and teamwork in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The role requires clinic experience, BLS, and willingness to float to nearby centers as needed.

Qualificações

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Active national MA certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent) at hire.
• At least 1+ year of experience with insurance verification and patient registration.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain before starting.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and triage patients; collect vitals and histories.
• Perform venipuncture and CLIA-waived point-of-care testing.
• Verify insurance eligibility and determine financial responsibility; collect co-pays.
• Maintain EMR accuracy and support front desk tasks.
• Provide clear discharge instructions and patient education.
