Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification or formal clinical training.
• Experience in urgent care, emergency, or fast-paced clinical settings preferred.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication and compassionate, patient-focused approach.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients, explain procedures, and collect medical histories and vital signs.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, wound care, testing, and treatments.
• Perform CLIA‑waived lab tests and collect specimens with proper QC.
• Administer medications, injections, and vaccines under supervision.
• Conduct EKGs and point‑of‑care testing; support as needed in exams and care.
