Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Front Office Representative for its Urgent Care network in the East Valley, Zone 5. The role involves greeting patients, verifying demographics and insurance, handling calls, and coordinating check-in to check-out processes across clinics.

The position is part-time with two 12-hour shifts per week and the schedule varies, including weekends. Training and support are provided as you rotate through Banner Urgent Care facilities to deliver timely, patient-centered service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to multi-task between heavy phone volume and multiple computer systems.
• Ability to interact with patients and staff in a busy medical office.
• Typing ≥30 wpm and data entry proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Answer and route incoming calls; document messages and coordinate with clinical staff.
• Verify demographics and insurance information; collect co-pays as needed.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments and prepare patient referrals.
• Prepare charts, forms, and ensure proper documentation for billing and records.
• Assist with patient check-in/check-out and basic administrative tasks.
