NextCare Urgent Care is hiring a Medical Front Office Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients in a fast-paced clinic. You will gather patient data, manage appointments, and support back-office operations to ensure a smooth patient experience.

The role requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of front-office experience in medical settings. Proficiency with EMR systems and Windows-based software is essential.

Qualifications

• Education: minimum high school diploma or GED; transcripts may be requested.
• Experience: at least 2 years in registration/front office in a physician's office, hospital ED or urgent care setting.
• Skills: multitasking, customer service, prioritization and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Obtain personal and insurance data from patients and input into EMR.
• Monitor patient flow and place patients into rooms as needed.
• Complete insurance forms for registration to ensure proper reimbursement.
• Prepare daily deposit, reconciliation, and daily statistics.
• Ensure adequate stock of front office supplies and functioning equipment.
• Answer phone with quality customer service.
• Maintain waiting areas and restrooms in a professional condition.
• Manage patient appointments scheduled via the NextCare website.
• Notify back office of urgent medical concerns and educate patients about NextCare services.
• Participate in education programs and staff training.
