Job summary

Prisma Health Urgent Care in Georgetown, SC is seeking a Patient Service Representative to deliver a welcoming and efficient patient experience as the first point of contact. You will manage front-office tasks, support clinic workflow, and uphold confidentiality in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Education and experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, EPIC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Warm welcome: greet and assist patients and visitors with a positive attitude.
• Patient and business documentation: maintain confidentiality and organize documents.
• Insurance verification: analyze benefits, verify eligibility, and communicate payment policies.
