Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Administrative Assistant certificate a plus.
• 1+ year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication and attention to detail; ability to multitask.
• Experience using EMR software, EPIC preferred.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, some weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors with a positive attitude.
• Verify insurance eligibility and provide payment policies.
• Collect and document patient information and financial responsibilities.
• Support front-office operations and clinic workflow.
• Maintain HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
• Travel to other Prisma Health Urgent Care locations as needed.
