American Family Care is seeking a medical professional to provide care in an outpatient clinic setting. Responsibilities include obtaining patient vitals, administering medications, and conducting lab tests.

The role requires an Associates degree or equivalent experience, with preferences for AMT registered and AAMA Certified Medical Assistants. AFC offers a competitive salary, health insurance, and opportunities for advancement.

Formación

• Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain patient vitals, medical history, and reason for visit.
• Explain prescribed procedures and treatments to patients.
• Ensure ordered tests are performed accurately and timely.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Draw blood and prepare labs for processing.
• Perform laboratory tests and equipment maintenance.
• Respond to all lab messages and call back requests.
• Perform drug screening procedures as per regulations.
• Ensure patient immunizations are documented and administered.
• Conduct physician referrals and service pre-certifications.
• Prepare exam rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation.
