Job summary

American Family Care (AFC) is seeking a compassionate nurse to provide general nursing care in an outpatient clinic setting, including vital signs, patient education, and assisting physicians.

You will rotate through lab, nursing, and x-ray, perform blood draws, administer medications, maintain documentation in the EMR, and support front desk and lab cross-training. Flexibility to work 7 days a week schedule is required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent required.
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training.
• Willing to cross-train to front desk and lab.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and assess patient condition.
• Explain procedures and prepare equipment for procedures.
• Draw blood and perform lab tests; operate lab equipment.
• Administer medications and treatments per nursing techniques.
• Document nursing history and assessments in EMR; maintain logs.
• Rotate among lab, nursing and x-ray; ensure safety.
