Job summary

American Family Care (AFC) is seeking a medical assistant to provide general medical care under the direction of a licensed provider in an outpatient clinic setting. You'll obtain patient vitals and explain treatments while ensuring all procedures are performed accurately.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Six months to one-year related experience and/or training is preferred.
• AMT registered and AAMA Certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Explain prescribed procedures and treatments to patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Draw blood and prepare labs for processing.
• Perform laboratory tests and maintain equipment.
