Job summary

American Family Care (AFC) is seeking qualified medical personnel to provide general medical care under licensed provider direction in an outpatient clinic. This role involves obtaining patient vitals, explaining procedures, and administering medications and treatments. Candidates should have an Associates degree or equivalent, or relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training preferred.
• AMT registered and AAMA Certified Medical Assistants are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient vitals, medical history, and prepare for exams.
• Explain procedures and treatments to patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Prepare exam rooms and sterilize instruments.
