Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Nationally certified and licensed EMT with at least 1 year of EMT experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/CPR online courses not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients by conduction preliminary evaluations to assess urgency.
• Take vital signs, collect medical histories, and assist with minor procedures.
• Explain medications and dosing, counsel on lifestyle and follow-up care.
• Document patient information in EHRs in compliance with HIPAA.
