Job summary

ConvenientMD is seeking an EMT-B to join our urgent care team across New England. This role offers hands-on patient care, close collaboration with clinicians, and opportunities to expand clinical skills in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates are certified EMTs with BLS, strong communication, and a patient-first approach. This position requires 12-hour shifts and occasional travel to nearby ConvenientMD locations within travel distance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• National EMT certification and current EMT license with 1+ year experience.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross; CPR/ACLS not accepted.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities; HIPAA compliance.
• Proficiency with basic office software and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and assess urgency.
• Take vitals, medical histories, assist with minor procedures.
• Explain medications and dosage instructions.
• Document in EHRs accurately; ensure privacy.
• Collaborate with clinical team and discharge planning.
