Job summary

ConvenientMD LLC is seeking a dedicated EMT-B to join our urgent care team serving New England, including Massachusetts. This role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care, triage, vital signs, and documentation within a collaborative clinical environment.

You will work closely with providers, handle patient inquiries, and support discharge planning. The position requires a Nationally certified EMT, BLS, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification: Nationally certified and licensed EMT with at least one year as an EMT.
• BLS certification required by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Demonstrates compassion, authenticity and patient focus.
• Proactive, confident communicator with colleagues and patients.
• Maintains confidentiality per HIPAA regulations.
• Effective cross-collaboration with providers and team members.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to learn Experity and other systems.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients through preliminary evaluations to determine urgency.
• Take vital signs, obtain medical histories and assist with minor procedures.
• Explain medications, dosages and potential adverse reactions to patients.
• Document patient information in EHRs accurately and securely.
• Coordinate with clinical team and providers for discharge plans and updates.
• Support training of new team members.
