In this position, you will triage patients, take vital signs, document in EHRs, explain medications, and coordinate with the team on discharge planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• National EMT certification and license with at least 1 year of EMT experience.
• BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross required; CPR/ACLS not accepted online.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and determine urgency of medical needs.
• Take vital signs, obtain medical histories, and assist with minor procedures.
• Document patient information in EHRs in compliance with HIPAA/privacy rules.
• Collaborate with providers to coordinate discharge planning and patient education.
