Job summary

ConvenientMD is seeking a dedicated EMT-B to join our urgent care team across New England. The role focuses on patient interaction, triage, vital signs, and documentation in EHRs, while collaborating with providers to deliver high-quality care. You’ll expand clinical skills in a fast-paced setting and support training for new clinic staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Nationally certified and licensed EMT (EMT-B) with at least 1 year of experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Compassionate, patient-focused care and strong teamwork.
• Proactive communicator and confidentiality compliant (HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Engage with patients in a welcoming, professional manner.
• Explain medications, dosing, and potential adverse reactions.
• Triage patients and perform basic assessments.
• Document patient information in EHRs accurately.
• Collaborate with providers and other clinical staff to coordinate care.
• Support training of new clinic team members.
