Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• National EMT certification and current license; at least 1 year as an EMT.
• BLS certification required; CPR/ACLS not accepted online.
• Compassionate, patient-focused attitude and teamwork.
• Proactive communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
• Must maintain confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Collaborates effectively with clinicians and staff.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software; ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients, provide information on conditions, treatments, and medications.
• Explain medications, dosages, and potential adverse reactions.
• Advise on lifestyle changes and preventive care.
• Triage patients, take vital signs, and obtain medical histories.
• Document patient information accurately in the EHR and ensure privacy compliance.
