Job summary

BAS Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an Urgent Care clinic in Middleboro, MA. You will perform physical exams, take histories, interpret data, develop initial treatment plans, and coordinate diagnostic testing and patient education.

You must be a graduate of an accredited MSN or PA program, hold an active MA NP or PA license, and possess DEA and MCSR credentials. Preference for Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine; influenza vaccination is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Master's in Nursing or PA program.
• Must hold an active Massachusetts NP or PA license.
• Current DEA and MCSR credentials required.
• Formal training in suturing is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and obtain medical histories.

Job Details

• Join an Urgent Care clinic as a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a fast-paced environment
• Perform physical exams, obtain medical histories, and interpret data to form preliminary diagnoses
• Develop therapeutic care plans and administer medications and injections
• Provide clear instructions to patients and families while serving as a primary care advocate
• Document care accurately and coordinate diagnostic testing and lab samples
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Master's in Nursing or PA program
• Must hold a current Massachusetts NP or PA license
• Valid DEA and MCSR credentials required
• Formal training in suturing is required
• Must have the ability to work autonomously with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to customer service
• Experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine is preferred but not required for the right candidate
• All staff must be vaccinated against influenza as a condition of employment
