Job summary

BAS Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an Urgent Care clinic in Middleboro, MA. You will perform physical exams, take histories, interpret data, develop initial treatment plans, and coordinate diagnostic testing and patient education.

You must be a graduate of an accredited MSN or PA program, hold an active MA NP or PA license, and possess DEA and MCSR credentials. Preference for Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine; influenza vaccination is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Master's in Nursing or PA program.
• Must hold an active Massachusetts NP or PA license.
• Current DEA and MCSR credentials required.
• Formal training in suturing is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and obtain medical histories.
• Interpret data to form preliminary diagnoses and develop care plans.
• Coordinate diagnostic testing and lab sampling.
• Provide patient and family education and act as primary care advocate.
