Job summary

American Family Care is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to care for patients in a walk-in urgent care setting. The APP will work collaboratively with providers to ensure efficient patient flow and high levels of satisfaction.

Requirements include active PA or NP licensure in the state, board certification, and the ability to multitask independently. ER/UC experience is preferred and compensation includes a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice.
• Board certification by ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA preferred (ER/UC experience).
• Ability to multitask and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Take comprehensive health histories and perform physical examinations.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and studies as appropriate.
• Institute emergency measures and patient stabilization as needed.
• Provide care plans and referrals to appropriate facilities and resources.
