Job summary

Memorial Health in Springfield is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team. This on-site, full-time role features day shifts from 8:00am to 9:00pm (three 12-hour shifts per week) with every third weekend rotation.

You will provide care to patients of all ages under physician supervision, document thoroughly, and collaborate with the team to improve outcomes. Memorial Health offers a competitive pay and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must hold APRN or PA license per Illinois law and CPR certification.
• ACLS where required; DEA license if applicable within 3 months of hire.
• 1+ year post-graduate mid-level provider experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat patients with supervision per protocol.
• Document thoroughly and obtain physician review/signatures.
• Coordinate care, educate patients and families, and ensure adherence to quality indicators.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and adjust care plans.
