Job summary

Memorial Health in Jacksonville, IL is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Urgent Care Team in a part-time capacity. Day shift coverage with a two- or three-shift weekly rotation and weekend rotation every third weekend.

Compensation: $64.39 - $75.70 per hour. The AP role provides care for patients of all ages and emphasizes evidence-based practice and collaboration with supervising physicians.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain APRN or PA licensure as required by Illinois law.
• Must maintain IL Controlled Substance license (within 3 months of hire if not held).
• Maintain DEA license (Must be obtained within 3 months of hire if not held).
• Valid CPR certification required.
• ACLS where required.
• Minimum of 1-year post-graduate as a mid-level provider preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in collaboration with supervising physician.
• Follow established protocols and document care and testing for review.
• Complete timely documentation according to payer standards and internal policies.
• Coordinate resources and collaborate with other healthcare professionals and families.
• Contribute to educational activities and quality improvement initiatives.
