Job summary

American Family Care is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to care for patients within the scope of training and approved agreement. The APP collaborates with providers to ensure efficient patient flow and satisfaction at a franchised location.

Responsibilities include taking detailed histories, forming diagnoses, ordering tests, and providing patient education. Franchise variability applies to duties and benefits across locations.

Qualifications

• ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA board certification or eligibility.
• Active PA or NP licensure in the state of practice and DEA number.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Take comprehensive health histories and order appropriate tests.
• Develop medical assessments and referrals to facilities or resources.
• Institute emergency measures and provide stabilization as needed.
• Interpret patient data to guide management and treatment.
• Educate patients and families on health care and prevention.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
