Job summary

American Family Care Memorial City is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to deliver patient care within the scope of training and approved agreement. The APP collaborates with other providers to ensure efficient patient flow and high patient satisfaction at a franchised location.

Responsibilities include collecting histories, developing assessments, ordering tests, and advising on care. Must hold active PA/NP licensure, DEA and state CS certificate; ER/UC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator with staff, patients and families.
• Able to multi-task and work independently.
• Active licensure as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, with DEA and state-controlled substance certificate as required.
• Board certification (ANCC/AANP/NCCPA) with ER/UC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take comprehensive health histories and assess patients.
• Formulate medical/nursing diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals.
• Provide emergency measures and stabilization as needed.
• Interpret patient data to guide treatment and management.
