Job summary

American Family Care in California seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to care for patients within the scope of training and agreement. You will work collaboratively with other providers at a franchised location to ensure efficient patient flow and satisfactory care.

Responsibilities include taking comprehensive histories, forming diagnoses, initiating treatments, ordering labs and imaging, and providing health guidance.

Qualifications

• Must hold ANCC/AANP/NCCPA board certification.
• Current PA/NP licensure in the state, plus DEA number and CS certificate.
• 1+ year Urgent care or ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete histories, review records, and develop medical assessments.
• Diagnose and refer patients to appropriate facilities or resources.
• Institute emergency measures and stabilization when needed.
• Interpret patient data to guide management and treatment.
• Instruct patients and families on healthcare and prevention.
• Other duties as assigned.
