Job summary

American Family Care Memorial City is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to care for patients within the scope of training, collaborating with a team to ensure efficient flow and high satisfaction in a walk-in setting.

Board-certified ANCC/AANP/NCCPA, active PA/NP licensure, DEA, and state CS certification are required; ER/UC experience preferred. Flexibility and a supportive small-business environment are highlighted in benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certified - (with 1 yr ER/UC experience preferred)
• Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure, DEA number, and state CS certificate, as required

Responsibilities

• Perform complete, detailed health histories, review records, develop medical assessments, and order labs and imaging appropriate for the patient.
• Formulate medical diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals to facilities and resources.
• Institute emergency measures and stabilization in emergencies.
• Interpret data to determine patient status and management.
• Provide instructions and guidance regarding health care and promotion to patients and families.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
