Job summary

Stantec in Minneapolis, MN seeks a design engineer to advance urban mobility projects across Minnesota. You will lead multi-disciplinary design teams, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with clients to deliver safe, efficient roadways and multimodal facilities.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Civil Engineering, 5+ years in roadway design, and a Minnesota PE registration, with strong communication and project leadership skills in an urban setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in roadway design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of roadway design projects for cities, counties, and state DOTs.
• Collaborate with staff from local offices and greater Stantec.
• Mentor staff and develop junior engineers.
• Coordinate with clients and other teams across Minnesota and beyond.
• Review work for accuracy and quality control.
