Job summary
Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in Minneapolis is seeking an experienced design engineer to lead and mentor the Urban Mobility design team.
You will deliver roadway design projects for cities, counties, and state DOTs, collaborate across local offices, and help advance transportation initiatives across Minnesota and beyond. The role emphasizes leading design efforts, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, and developing innovative, compliant transportation solutions while expanding
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- PE registration in Minnesota is required or must be eligible.
- Minimum 5 years of roadway design experience.
- Strong communication and mentoring skills.
- Ability to travel as required.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of roadway design projects for cities, counties, and state DOTs.
- Collaborate with staff from local offices and greater Stantec to provide support and secure assistance on projects.
- Stay abreast of market trends and client concerns and develop responsive solutions.
- Mentor staff to develop each to their full potential.
- Prepare design concepts, Preliminary Geometric Layouts and Final Design construction plan sets.
- Review work for accuracy and coordinates with others to ensure quality assurance and quality control for all final products
