Job summary

The Kresge Foundation is seeking an American Cities Fellow to support the American Cities Program in advancing racial and economic equity across U.S. cities.

This limited-term fellowship will run for two to three years and is open to candidates who have completed a bachelor’s degree. Candidates with education, work, or lived experience in urban systems, nonprofits, social justice, public policy, economic development or government, and a commitment to racial equity are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Support the American Cities Program in scaling effective community and economic development practices.
• Gain experience in institutional and place-based philanthropy, cross-sector collaboration, and policy and advocacy related to equity in cities.
• Contribute to the fellowship’s career development and program expansion over a two-to-three year term.
