Job summary

The Kresge Foundation seeks a Program Team Fellow to plan and implement cross-team efforts that strengthen social and economic fabric in American cities. You will manage projects, conduct research, and support strategies under a program team, gaining insight into the social sector and equity-centered philanthropy.

Based in the Detroit metro area with a two-year term and potential extension, this role emphasizes mentorship, cohort learning, and collaboration across teams to advance racial equity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in related fields such as higher education, public policy, educational equity or philanthropic studies.
• Two years of experience in related fields.

Responsibilities

• Serve as project manager and coordinator for the programmatic team, tracking tasks, dates, deliverables, agendas and notes.
• Support and/or lead projects contributing to program team goals.
• Coordinate participation in activities such as lunch and learns and forums.
• Develop agendas and materials for meetings and presentations.
• Conduct research and analysis to inform team initiatives and strategies.
• Assist in grant processes, engaging with grantee partners and stakeholders.
• Travel to conferences, convenings, and site visits with grantees and partners.
