Job summary

Organo USA, Inc. seeks a Project Safety Manager to lead all EHS activities for assigned UPW construction projects.

On-site safety representation ensures OSHA compliance, client standards, and company safety policies while collaborating with project managers, site superintendents, trade contractors, and client reps. The role requires authoring site-specific safety plans, conducting orientations and toolbox talks, directing root-cause investigations, and partnering with the Corporate Safety Team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; 10+ years of progressive construction safety leadership.
• Minimum 5 years of dedicated EHS leadership within industrial construction, semiconductor facilities, or high-purity water systems.
• Comprehensive expertise in OSHA 1926 standards and hazardous chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Site Safety Leadership & Operational Governance: develop site safety plans and enforce policies.
• Contractor & Subcontractor Safety Oversight: review programs, conduct orientations, and oversee JHAs.
• High-Risk Construction Activity Management: manage permits, daily audits, and safety controls for high-risk tasks.
• Inspections, Incident Investigation & Risk Mitigation: regular audits, CAPA tracking, root-cause investigations.
• Client Interface & Semiconductor Site Coordination: liaise with client EHS teams and participate in safety forums.
