Job summary

Kenworth Truck Company seeks an Aftersales Program Manager to reduce vehicle dwell time and improve dealer service efficiency using Lean methodologies. You will drive cross-functional PACCAR initiatives to maximize uptime and profitability, collaborating with dealer principals and service management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, Engineering, or Automotive Technology; MBA is a strong plus.
• 7 years related business experience in process improvement, Lean/Six Sigma, or dealer service operations.
• 3+ years implementing continuous improvement or Lean in manufacturing or service environments.
• Experience with dealer or service center operations preferred.
• Proven track record of leading process improvement projects with measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean-based process improvement initiatives to reduce vehicle dwell time across the Kenworth dealer network.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments of dealer service operations using data analytics to identify bottlenecks and opportunities.
• Develop and implement standardized service process frameworks balancing quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with dealers to design and execute improvement action plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional program initiatives with Sales, Service, Engineering, PACCAR Parts, and others.
• Benchmark industry practices to ensure best-in-class service experiences.
• Facilitate training on Lean principles, process mapping, and performance management.
• Establish KPIs for uptime, dwell time, throughput, labor utilization and satisfaction.
• Prepare reports and presentations on improvement results and best practices.
