Job summary

Kenworth Truck Company, a PACCAR division in Kirkland, WA, is seeking a Program Manager with 8+ years of industry experience. The role manages program development in a matrixed organization, including schedule, scope, budget, communication, issues, and quality.

Located in Kirkland, Washington, the position emphasizes cross-functional leadership and on-time program delivery. The ideal candidate has strong technical aptitude, superb communication, and a track record of delivering complex programs

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; MS/MBA degree preferred.
PMP or PgMP certification preferred; willing to earn within 12 months if not held.
Experience managing stage-gate projects in matrixed organizations across locations, with software content or electrified components.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to influence without direct authority; strong multi-tasking and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Coordinate product development program activities across multiple departments at Kenworth, other PACCAR divisions, Purchasing, Supplier Quality, and suppliers.
Deliver assigned programs on time and on budget; manage scope, schedule, budget and risk.
Communicate with Senior Management; escalate issues as needed.
Maintain programs in the tollgate phase.
Write business plans and obtain approval.
Lead efforts to obtain 100% PPAP approval prior to Volume Validation builds.
Manage successful production implementation.
Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
Travel up to 15% of the time.
Perform other duties as assigned.
