Job summary

Logix Guru is seeking an experienced Process Control Engineer / Controls Engineer to support controls systems and projects in a heavy industrial environment. The contractor role spans 12+ months with potential for extension.

Responsibilities include designing and maintaining industrial control hardware/software, programming Siemens PLCs, HMI, and machine control logic, and supporting SCADA systems in a 24x7 setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial controls/process control.
• Hands-on experience with Siemens PLCs.
• Experience with HMI systems and machine logic/control logic.
• Experience with SCADA and industrial process control systems.
• Experience in heavy industrial, manufacturing, or plant environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance industrial process control hardware and software solutions.
• Program and work with Siemens PLCs, HMI systems, and machine control logic.
• Support and improve SCADA systems, graphical HMI applications, and industrial LAN communications.
• Analyze hardware, software, equipment, and instrumentation requirements and recommend cost-effective technical solutions.
• Translate business and operational requirements into effective industrial control solutions.
• Work closely with operations, engineering, management, control system support, and other technical teams.
• Provide process control expertise in a 24x7 industrial environment.
• Initially, the role will focus more on controls projects and system improvements than day-to-day production support.
