Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a Controls Engineer to program, troubleshoot, and improve automation across our Indiana manufacturing facility.

The role combines hands-on production floor support with engineering projects, focusing on Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and automated equipment. You will develop ladder logic in Studio 5000/RSLogix, diagnose downtime, read electrical schematics, back up PLC/HMI configurations, and collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, OEMs, and system

Qualifications

3+ years of industrial controls/automation experience.
Hands-on Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLC programming and troubleshooting.
Experience with Studio 5000/RSLogix, ladder logic, HMIs, and VFDs.
Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment.
Experience with ControlLogix/CompactLogix, FactoryTalk, PanelView, PowerFlex is a plus.

Responsibilities

Program, troubleshoot, and modify PLCs using Studio 5000 and RSLogix.
Develop ladder logic, HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, and drives.
Diagnose downtime and perform root-cause analysis.
Support automated equipment including lines and material handling systems.
Maintain PLC/HMI backups, electrical drawings, and controls documentation.
Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Production, OEMs, and system integrators.
