Qualifications

• Previous hosting experience in upscale or fine-dining restaurants.
• Genuine interest in hospitality and guest interaction.
• Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt as timing and service needs change.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and guide them through arrival and seating.
• Manage reservations, waitlists and seating assignments.
• Confirm upcoming reservations and respond to inquiries.
• Monitor seating times and keep guests informed of changes.
• Maintain accurate notes on preferences, special occasions and requests.
• Communicate reservation details and updates to the team.
• Address questions and concerns with tact.
• Complete opening and closing responsibilities.
