Job summary

Mastro’s Restaurants in Houston is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, lead and develop staff, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. You will maintain high standards for service, food quality, and operational performance, while driving cost controls and compliance with health and safety regulations.

The role requires at least 2 years in upscale dining management, with strong front-of-house knowledge and financial awareness.

Qualifications

• Experience managing upscale / fine dining restaurants at least two years.
• Strong front of house knowledge and attention to financial aspects.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities.
• Stable, progressive work history with strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exceptional guest experiences through a hands-on, lead-by-example management style.
• Lead and develop staff, optimize labor and cost control across the venue.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations; monitor operations.
• Oversee accurate daily paperwork including sales summaries, petty cash, and payroll.
