Job summary

José Andrés Group in Washington, DC seeks a Restaurant Manager to lead daily service, coach teams, and uphold JAG standards. You will partner with AGM/GM to drive shift performance, labor efficiency, and guest satisfaction in a premier dining environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of progressive FOH leadership in high-volume upscale casual or fine dining.
• Experience supervising/assisting management and leading shifts.
• Proven success balancing guest experience, coaching, and cost controls.
• familiarity with reservations and POS platforms and scheduling tools.
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and coaching skills.
• Wine/spirits and culinary knowledge to guide guest choices.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily service across all dayparts; ensure smooth operations.
• Model anticipatory hospitality; manage guest recovery with empathy.
• Recruiting, onboarding, and developing a leadership bench.
• Monitor KPIs, labor, inventory, and compliance; drive sales growth.
• Partner with Culinary/Beverage on inventory and COGS controls.
• Uphold health code, safety standards, and wage/hour compliance.
• Assist with menu launches, openings, and training rollouts.
