Job summary

Mauna Kea Resort is seeking a diligent Waitstaff member to provide warm, attentive dining service in our restaurant. You will take orders, input them into the resort POS system, and ensure guest satisfaction by answering questions and making wine recommendations.

The role requires adherence to liquor laws and a commitment to high service standards. Responsibilities include setting up the dining room, greeting guests, and delivering meals promptly.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 to serve and sell alcoholic beverages.
• Must be trained in responsible alcohol service within 30 days of hire.
• Must be pleasant, friendly and smiling.
• Department of Health TB test clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining room and properly set tables.
• Take orders for food and beverages and input into POS system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and follow service standards.
• Adhere to liquor laws and restaurant policies while serving alcohol.
• Assist in clearing tables and resetting for the next guests.
